Established in 2023, the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society of IIT is a dedicated community fostering science, technology, learning, and education for undergraduates. The society provides valuable hands-on experience through workshops and webinars, allowing participants to showcase their skills and push the boundaries of what's possible in the world of autonomous systems.

Phase 1 is designed for undergraduate students who want to build practical robotics skills. No prior robotics experience is required — Day 1 starts with programming fundamentals.
RobotNexus 3 spans seven days across two phases. Phase 1 consists of four workshop days, and Phase 2 includes three community outreach days.
Programming basics, obstacle avoidance, PID tuning, line-following logic, IR sensor calibration, multiprocessing concepts, and wireless communication — all through hands-on robot development.
A community-focused outreach initiative in collaboration with the Foundation of Goodness, delivering introductory robotics workshops to children across Sri Lanka.
Each Phase 1 workshop day runs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with approximately 4–5 hours of structured, hands-on learning.
